Announcing our church curriculum series on climate emotions: Caring for Climate
We're excited to announce the launch of our new church curriculum focused on how we deal with emotions surrounding the climate crisis! This first installment is composed of three lessons by ACC Director of Pastoral Ecology Doug Kaufman, retired environmental science teacher Ken Pitts, and Sarah Nahar, PhD candidate in Religion & Environmental Studies at Syracuse University and State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
This curriculum was developed by a plethora of diverse voices, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, and men and women. All are from the broader Anabaptist community.
While this resource is from the Anabaptist community, we offer it to the broader world, anyone who finds it helpful as you engage personally, spiritually, socially, and politically with the climate crisis.
