MCUSA Climate Justice Ministry
MCUSA’s Climate Justice Ministry, formerly Mennonite Creation Care Network, facilitates partnerships among church congregations and serves as a platform to share creation care resources and learned wisdom between Anabaptist communities across the United States and Canada. One of the most impactful initiatives of CJM to date has been Net Zero Energy grants, in which churches can apply to offset costs for solar panel installations on their buildings. We also offer webinars for churches on creation care themes, as well as Christian education curriculum and smaller grants for various green projects. CJM emphasizes that everyone can do something, and our role is to connect each congregation with opportunities to increase creation care efforts in their own communities.
